1. Acceptance of these terms

Posta is operated by DLUM.LLC (“Posta”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Posta mobile app or web console, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Posta.

2. What Posta is

Posta is a residential access platform that helps neighborhoods, condominiums, and homeowner associations manage visitor access, gate credentials, resident communications, payment tracking, amenity reservations, surveys, and related community operations. Your access to specific features depends on the role and neighborhood assigned to your account and on the modules your neighborhood has enabled.

3. Accounts and eligibility

• You may use Posta only if a participating neighborhood has authorized your account. Posta does not offer public self-service signup.
• Your role — resident, guard, administrator, or auditor — is determined by your membership, not by you, and is resolved after you sign in.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to hold an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for activity under your account.
• Notify your neighborhood administrator promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Access credentials and QR codes

• QR credentials issued through Posta are authorization artifacts, not proof of identity, and are validated online at the point of entry.
• A resident’s personal credential is tied to that resident and must not be shared to grant others unauthorized entry.
• Visitor passes are subject to the validity window, use limits, and rules set by the issuing resident or neighborhood.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Posta to grant, obtain, or attempt access you are not authorized to have.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with access controls, credential validation, or security features.
• Share credentials or passes in a way that enables unauthorized entry.
• Upload unlawful content, or submit information you are not permitted to share.
• Disrupt, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to Posta’s systems, or use automated means to extract data from the service.
• Use the service to harass, surveil, or unlawfully discriminate against residents, visitors, or staff.

6. Guard, resident, and neighborhood responsibilities

Guards are responsible for following their neighborhood’s procedures when validating credentials and recording entry and exit. Residents are responsible for the visitors and passes they create. Neighborhoods are responsible for the policies they configure, the roles they grant, the notices they give their members, and the decisions their administrators and guards make. Posta provides the tools; it does not decide who may enter a community.

7. Payments

Where a neighborhood enables payments, Posta records manual payment obligations, the proof residents submit, and the neighborhood’s review decision. Posta is not a payment processor, bank, money transmitter, or escrow service, and does not handle card, bank, or settlement transactions. Billing amounts, dues, and disputes are handled by your neighborhood under its own policies.

8. Content you submit

You retain your rights to the content you submit, such as visitor details, survey responses, suggestions, and any evidence media. You grant us the limited, non-exclusive rights needed to host, store, transmit, and process that content in order to operate the service for your neighborhood. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of what you submit, including having any consent needed before uploading another person’s photo or details.

9. Availability and access decisions

Posta is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Access-control decisions are designed to fail closed: when the service cannot be reached or a credential cannot be verified, entry is not granted. Posta is not a security guard service, alarm system, or emergency service, and must not be relied on as the sole safeguard for life, safety, or property. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DLUM.LLC and its members, officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or relating to your use of Posta — whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other theory, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

We are not liable for access decisions made by a neighborhood’s administrators or guards, for a neighborhood’s policies or its handling of its members’ information, for unauthorized entry resulting from a credential you shared, or for events outside our reasonable control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to Posta will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred United States dollars (US$100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and in those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by applicable law.

11. Suspension and termination

Your neighborhood or Posta may suspend or end your access if these terms are violated or if your membership ends. You may stop using Posta at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including content licenses needed for records already submitted, limitation of liability, and governing law — survive.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to Posta are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

You and DLUM.LLC agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Florida for any dispute not subject to informal resolution, and each party waives any objection to venue in those courts. Before filing a claim, please contact us so we can try to resolve the matter informally.

If you use Posta from outside the United States, you remain subject to these terms, and any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence continue to apply where the law requires it.
